The probable answer is that eBay appears to be adding random page views in a desperate attempt to have sellers think there is more traffic on eBay than there really is. So how exactly did these listings end up with page views when they were not indexed in search and could not be found on the site? Now, these should not be page views carried over from the original listings since the items which were relisted using sell similar and had refreshed titles, quantity and prices. I searched for the individual items using my buying ID, and the newly listed items were not available in search results. I contacted ebay support tonight and spoke with an agent named 'rose' about why. I politely let them know a high or sudden increase in watch count means the item WILL sell quickly.
